HIGH SPEED INTERNET USERS ONLY (NO DIALUP MODEMS)

Thank you for visiting our downloads page. Currently, we are not offering any recordings for download. With the upcoming release of the Sound Devices 722 and 744t Hard Disk Recorders, we will likely be out recording shows again and sharing them readily.

Bit Torrent Instructions

Step 1

First download and install the client from the Bit Torrent link to the left.

Step 2

Right Click and Save the .torrent file off this web page to your desktop, or somewhere on your hard drive that you will be able to find it easily.

It's the link that looks similar to this "wsp2002-10-31.torrent" at the top of the page under the  "Current Download/Torrent" heading

Step 3

Double Click the .torrent file on your hard drive that you downloaded in step 2. This will bring up a browsing window. Browse to the location on your hard drive that you would like the download to go. We suggest creating a folder for the specific show in the place you store your music.

(For Example E:/My Music/wsp2002-10-31)

The download should start automatically after that. If you get disconnected from the download or need to close the download client while you do other things on your computer, just double click the .torrent file you saved in step 2 and browse to the same path you initially sent your download. This will resume your download where it left off.

IMPORTANT

After you reach the "Download Succeeded" point, please  DO NOT CLOSE THE CLIENT window by pushing the "Finish" button and please do not modify, or move any of the files that you've downloaded.  Leave the download client running until the upload speed reaches 0.0 (This means that the session is complete and all of your peers have completed their downloads) Again... if you need to close your client for any reason you can do so.  However, please restart it, and point the browser back to the location of the files and share your bandwidth with your peers whenever possible.

If you want to decode the .flac files to .wav to burn CDR's while still sharing bandwidth with your peers, you must either copy (not cut) all the files to a new location and then decode the copied files or decode them from there current location without deleting the input files. (Uncheck the "Delete Input Files" box in the FLAC Frontend.)

FLAC

First of all, I'm sure some of you may be wondering what is .flac? (Free Lossless Audio Codec)

If your new to .flac or Bit Torrent then check out the Links to the left.  If you still have questions please feel free to go over to the forum and ask your questions there.

Final Notes

Keep in mind these sessions will be originating from a 256kbs upstream line, so please be patient.  Each offer will be posted around 12:00 MST every Wednesday.  The .torrent file will be removed from this page the following Tuesday.  Be sure to check back every week, as we will offer a wide variety of bands to meet just about any taste.

Happy Downloading and Trading!
