Payment Policies

Credit Card Payments:
We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover through our standard web checkout process. We do not accept Diners Club. We do not allow multiple credit card payments for web orders. Split credit card payments are however accepted for orders placed over the phone, live chat, or in person.  Credit card customers with billing addresses within the 50 United States will not be charged until the order is processed for shipping. Credit card authorization for the order total occurs at the time the order is placed. Credit Cards with billing addresses outside the 50 United States may be charged in full at the time of purchase.


PayPal Payments:
We accept PayPal payments provided that the shipping address is a PayPal confirmed address.  Orders through PayPal cannot be modified. You must cancel the order and place a new order if necessary.

Not sure if your address is "Confirmed"? You can check if your address is confirmed by logging in to this page. PayPal Confirmed addresses will be marked as "Confirmed" in the STATUS column.
Note: We do not accept eChecks (bank account payments) via PayPal unless you have a valid credit card attached to your account (for back-up purposes). PayPal may therefore ask you to add a valid credit card to your account for you to complete your order with us.  PayPal Customer Service can be reached at 888-221-1161 and will be able to help you verify if your address is confirmed. They can also assist you in setting up the information correctly on your account.


Google Wallet (Google Checkout):
Choose Google Wallet for quick checkout through Google (US customers only). All you need is a Google Wallet account.

  • Once you have completed a purchase using Google Wallet, Sonic Sense will communicate with you via your Google Wallet email address regarding shipping, tracking, and returns.
  • Orders through Google Wallet cannot be modified. You must cancel the order and place a new order if necessary.
  • When you use Google Wallet you are protected by Google's fraud protection policy which covers you against unauthorized purchases made through Google Wallet.
  • Your credit/debit card information is stored in your Google Wallet account. Charges to your credit card are made by GOOGLE *SONIC SENSE. Your credit/debit card information is not shared with Sonic Sense.

Other Payment forms:
Bank Wire and Pre-payment in certified funds or company and Personal Checks are an option but must be processed outside of our website. Please add 7-10 days of processing time for your order while we wait for the check to clear.  Terms are available for professional organizations and government agencies. Verification:
Some orders are subject to our verification procedure. This means that for your protection from credit card fraud or identity theft, we may ask you to verify that you're the card owner or that order and that ship-to information are legitimate. This process rarely delays an order, and generally requires either a check against our fraud detection system or a simple call-back from you.  If your order requires verification, we will advise you by phone or e-mail. This is why it's important that you leave you phone number(s) when ordering and that you keep your information current.  It is also important that you understand what we mean by bill-to information on the checkout process. The bill-to address is the address to which your bank mails your monthly credit card statement. The bill-to address you give us must agree with the address that the card issuing bank has on file. Please be sure you provide the correct information, even if the items are to be shipped to a different location.  We regret that this is necessary, but it is designed to protect both the card owner and the retailer.

 
Pricing:
Prices are subject to change without notice. Should an error in pricing occur, Sonic Sense will notify the buyer prior to shipping and provide a complete refund if requested by the buyer.  Special prices may be limited to certain merchandise and quantities in stock.  Sonic Sense enters into Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) agreements with many suppliers & manufacturers. According to these agreements, which vary in details from vendor to vendor, the retailer can sell an item for any price, but may not advertise the item for an amount less than the Minimum Advertised Price which is set by the supplier.  By contacting us in a individual and personal manner we are able to provide you personal pricing outside of MAP agreements.
