SONICORDER
Turnkey and Customized 24-bit, DC Powered, Digital Audio Workstations
SONICORDER is a custom integration of recording software, soundcard, and configuration of high-quality laptop computers uniquely prepared to fit each recordist's needs. Including a maximum capacity hard-drive, an optimized build of Windows, SONICORDER is quickly changing the way audio material can be recorded outside of studio walls.
While recording audio onto computers is certainly not a new concept, SONICORDER customized laptops are each carefully prepared with proper settings to assure that your important recordings are as safe on the computer as they ever could have been on tape. As you build confidence that laptop recording is a viable method of field recording, we encourage you to read Demystifying Laptop-based Audio Recording and 24-bit Field Recording. As we are dedicated to assuring maximum stability and longevity in the field, we offer the SONICORDER system on machines that we have tested extensively. Additionally, for those interested in having their own laptops prepared for field recording, we offer customization services.
